Alzheimer Internacional - Fundació Pasqual Maragall

The aim of the match is to carry out together an action to make aware of the disease effects and of the necessity to invest as the only one possible way to get to know its causes and to find effective remedies to combat it.
The action also expects to collect funds for the research on this disease and for the support and guidance of Alzheimer’s ills and their relatives. The obtained income will be used for the scientific Project of the Pasqual Maragall Foundation, for the Barcelona Alzheimer’s Relatives Association and the Catalonia Alzheimer foundation. The actions carried out at the pitch will be: the showing of a promotional video on the scoreboard of the field, the honor kickoff of the match done by Pasqual Maragall and the photo of all the players together behind a banner with the slogan “Everybody plays against the Alzheimer”. Thanks to the collaboration of producers, presenters and journalists, the broadcasting through the radio and the television will complete and amplify the importance of the action.
The aim of the three foundations is to get this collaboration continuous and to organize other actions together in the future. Therefore, the day of the match will be held a lunch between representatives of the Foundations. Among them, their presidents, Pasqual Maragall, Joan Laporta and Daniel Sánchez Llibre, and their respective Directors, Jordi Camí, Marta Segú and Javier Sáenz.
