Open day at PRBB

In this first year of life and as part of the PRBB, the Pasqual Maragall Foundation joins this initiative, being available to citizens to share with them our project Alzheimer International.
On Saturday, October 3, from 10am to 7pm, we invite the citizens to an educational and joyful Open Day at the Barcelona Biomedical Research Park (PRBB). Visitors can participate in scientific experiments, visit laboratories and installations, watch videos, get to know the lines of research of the park, participate in a round-table discussion and talk to the young scientists who will attend all the questions of the public. The activities include an exposition about “The voyage of Charles Darwin and the theory of evolution 150 years afterwards” and a theater play about the “Oxford debate”.
This initiative is organized by young people (Science meets Society) of pre- and postdoctoral scientists, most of them foreigners and eager to communicate the scientific knowledge to the general public. The Open Day is carried out with the participation of volunteers from the personnel at the centers at PRBB.
