Pasqual Maragall inaugurates the IV Society and Alzheimer’s Disease conference

Pasqual Maragall opens IV Society and Alzheimer’s Disease conference. Today, Pasqual Maragall called for Alzheimer’s disease not to be stigmatised, and for more opportunities to be given to young researchers with "our groundbreaking
perspectives" to seek out solutions that are "not just palliative, but which also halt the progress of the disease".
Maragall expressed his support for fighting the "negative" perception of the disease among the population, and explained that "he who finds it hardest to deal with an ill person is the person who feels sorry for them".
